This fish was caught in Alaska’s Kvichak River. It may be my favorite Alaskan River to fish these days. You have a chance at big fish like this and I love to stay at George Riddles’ place called Blueberry Island Lodge. If wine and cheese isn’t your thing then his lodge is the place for you. By the way this fish measured 33 inches. A fish of a lifetime.
Ive meet George and at 3 rivers fly shop in wasilla last year and he was a real nice guy. Would visit his place anytime.

Nice bow! The Kvichak is an amazing place. Been real lucky to be up there the last 4 yrs at a beautiful lodge on the Kvichak. Those fish get big and fat from the dieing salmon, and nothing beats tossing a big leach to get those big rainbows. Cheers, to a great show Greg!

Nice bow!!!! Your show is my favorite fishing show on T.V. right now!! I’m Northwest Indiana and don’t get to travel much. We have Salmon and Trout here, but I love your show! You guys do an awsome job of showing the beauty of destination and their fisheries! Keep doin’ what your doin’ !!!!!
